purpose
SEVAR aims to celebrate the beauty of traditional Afghan craftsmanship and raise awareness of its millennia-old history.
SEVAR invests surplus profits in a training program for men with war injuries and congenital physical disabilities. These synergies can support the trainees to achieve financial independence and determine their own futures.
In order to create a social enterprise, the program is implemented in cooperation with the organization Visions for Children eV, which provides children in Afghanistan with a high-quality education.

production
Traditional Afghan goldsmithing dates back several thousand years. The artisans demonstrate exceptional skills by applying a range of traditional and sophisticated techniques. Jewelry making by local goldsmiths requires in-depth training, and because of these high standards, goldwork maintains its high reputation in Afghan society.
SEVAR jewelry is carefully handcrafted by local artisans, including goldsmith Milad Zamani. The pieces are crafted from 925 silver and intense dark blue lapis lazuli. The pieces are then plated with 14-karat gold.
