The "Rabia" bangle features an organic surface adorned with lapis lazuli stripes. These are not immediately visible, but are placed at the end of the bangle. The piece is available in one size and pairs particularly well with the "Soraya" earrings. It is available in gold and silver. Please note that the bangle is sold individually.
The second SEVAR Studios collection consists of ten pieces of jewelry whose names and designs pay special tribute to Afghanistan's moving history and its influential figures. Each piece bears the name of a significant figure in Afghanistan, a significant date, or a term important to Hila and Wana Limar.
Please note that each bracelet is handmade from natural materials. No two pieces are alike, but rather a beautiful one-of-a-kind. Therefore, variations from the photos may occur .

Hila and Wana Limar write about the background of the name: "Rabia Balkhi was a Persian writer and poet born in the 9th century in what is now Afghanistan. She is considered the first woman to write poetry in modern Farsi (Persian). In her literature, she addressed, among other things, her forbidden love for a slave, which, according to the stories, also led to her death. Through her courage to write openly about her feelings and to break down the class structures of the time, she became an icon in the fight for equality and justice in Afghanistan."

The designs were created by Hila Limar (architect and chairwoman of the non-profit organization Visions for Children e.V.) and Wana Limar (creative producer, presenter, ambassador, and member of the PR team at Visions for Children e.V.). The jewelry pieces were carefully handcrafted in a goldsmith's workshop in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
With this collaboration, the Afghan-born sisters Hila and Wana Limar are also introducing their new jewelry label SEVAR Studios. SEVAR Studios combines the sisters' shared affinity for artistic design with an educational, sustainable approach—thus combining their long-standing commitment to education, particularly through the non-profit organization Visions for Children e.V., with their love of art and aesthetics. Profits generated by SEVAR Studios flow into a goldsmith training program in Kabul.
